BRENDON VANDERGAST

Brendon Vandergast is a Partner in the law firm of Altschul Olin & Vandergast, LLP.  He specializes in the practice of entertainment, intellectual property and new media law. He provides counsel to recording and performing artists, songwriters, film/TV composers, artist managers, music producers and entertainment personalities. Brendon also provides corporate, new media, trademark, copyright and licensing counsel to various companies. Clients represented include Michael Franti, Walter Afanasieff, Rick Dees, The Bicycle Music Company, Red Frog Events, IMVU.com, PlayNetwork, MetroPCS and SanDisk.

Brendon graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and received his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School.  While attending UCLA, Brendon was a rock music journalist for the Daily Bruin.  In law school, he focused on entertainment and new media law studies offered at the Biederman Entertainment & Media Law Institute.

After graduating from law school, Brendon worked as an associate attorney for Altschul & Olin, LLP working closely with prominent entertainment attorneys, David E. Altschul and Milton E Olin, Jr., and their respective clients, including Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, A&M/Octone Records, Pandora Radio, LyricFind, and the Estate of Bing Crosby.
